I read a lot of blogs (A LOT!) This morning during my daily grumpy wake up routine... 

(Frowning at my cell phone that consistently chirps reminding me I've way overslept, reheating the coffee my husband so kindly made for me when I should have woken up, burning my bagel, and catching up on my favorite blogs)

My favorite part about these two outfits, is that if you look how they styled each piece individually, most people would never put them all together. I'm not exactly sure who gets credit for the styling in this shoot. Jacqueline Rose the designer? Rachel the blogger? Threadsence the website? Some other mysterious behind the scenes stylist? Maybe a combo of them all! Whoever it is, Bravo!! these outfits are fantastical!

Ok, ew. Now granted I have an especially large bias against chambray and pale denim in general which stems largely from a most hideous work uniform I used to have to wear day in and day out. Denim shirts and khaki pants will forever be on my "do not wear" list. These shoes reek of Jersey streetwalker. No offence Jersey readers, but they do. As if the look of these wasn't heinous enough, they cost $110 & $129. Blech.

Back to School

Today is the day! My first day back to school. The first day of the rest of my life. Pretty cool, huh? 

My first round of higher education when I was a teen was in Music Performance. Turns out even though I am super duper passionate about music, it just wasn't the right path for me. It's taken me 10 years to build up my confidence and be brave enough to try school again. Music is still and will always be hugely important to me, so I thought it might be fun to share with you a few songs that are helping to keep me pumped up for this!
