Okay guys, heres the scoop. School is all consuming! At first a full time job, full time school, and a daily blog seemed like it would be no big thing. Boy was I mistaken! I'm having a rough time keeping a fair balance between what I want to do and what I need to do. Please accept my apologies for not keeping up with my "regular" posting schedule. this week in photos

This week was a rough one. School is really in the swing of things now, in fact I have a midterm due in just five days! I can handle the work, but it is truly leaving me no time to do anything else. I'm definitely struggling with the lifestyle change. I used to love my days off, walking around town taking pictures, hanging out with my parents, shopping (!!!!!), visiting friends, reading... Now all my time (allllllllllll my time) is consumed by school. But, I still get to read. Read and read and read and read... Just not what I would normally choose!

Delicious little lemon cookies for a party I ended up missing because I hadn't finished my schoolwork yet.

My work space: Started out very grown up with coffee presses and green tea straight from China. By the end of the week I had made it to Coke, peanut butter cups and programing hierarchy charts...

Date night!  With such crazy busy lives Mr.Husband and I always have a nice meal together at least once a week, no matter what! This "nice meal" consisted of a table cloth you can write on. Real fancy style. Hey, whatever, I'll take a love note from him in any format!

Cryfest! Curly hair and purple lips, awesome illustrated request list, interpretive portraits (could be SteveEP and Missguided, could be Morrissey and Smith...), and a big ol' sparkly skull ring straight from London.

Hello, hello! I've been absent (obviously) so sorry I didn't give all you lovelies a heads up.
Here's the dish...

Finals, Merchandising Mania, Extended Hours, PMS, Christmas Shopping, Christmas Shipping Panic, DJ Party, Mr.Husband Shows, Anniversaries, Christmas Parties, Puppies...

So, in order to save my sanity I took my husbands advice and took a step back from the blog-o-sphere. I am so sorry I didn't let you all know!

My parents got a new puppy! She's fuzzy, likes to bite shoes, and is deadly cute.

CAPFABB Nectar Skin Bar

I love going to the CAPFABB (formerly DCFABB) meetups. It's always a fun way not only to catch up with old blogger friends, but also to make new blogger friends! This October's event was held at Nectar Skin Bar. Here are some of the pictures (see more on my Tumblr!) 

Also, a quick apology to some of the attendees. I took lots of pictures and unfortunately had some serious technical issues while transferring the photos to my hard drive.
