EU Open House Day 2013

Sometimes the best plans are spontaneous ones. After seeing a picture of my friend posing with a Dalek (for non-nerds, learn HERE) Mr.Husband and I promptly threw some clothes on, hopped in the car, and drove directly to The British Embassy. Not only did I get to pose with said Dalek, that homicidal jerk even chased me down. Sadly, there is no video of that. Beyond fulfilling our nerd quest, we toured the grounds at The British Embassy. They are remarkable.

Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

Any of you guys knitters? I would like to call myself a knitter, I mean certainly I love to knit, but with my crazy life I rarely find the time to sit and devote time to a project. Generally speaking, it's a whole lot of casting on while chatting with my best girlfriends only to pack it up and not look at it again until our next best girlfriends get together. C'est la vie!

One thing I do look forward to every year though is the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. If you are a fiber freak like me, and you haven't been to the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, you are most certainly missing out. It's a Fairground full of all sorts of yarn-y goodness. SO MUCH YARN!!
