Spring Sandals

Yes, it's still winter. Yes, the federal government was closed due to snow yesterday. Yes, I am dreaming of warm, sunshine-y, springtime-y days. Days perfect for these flirty, open-toed platform sandals...

I think I like the Emma Wedge best, but the Kona Sandals are so versitile!

Bright Idea Wedge

Bright Idea Wedge in Turquoise - Bright Idea Wedge in Clay - Bright Idea Wedge in Yellow

Don't you just love when something you really like comes in more than one color? I do, obviously, I've talked about it several times in the past: here, here, and here for example. Well you can imagine my glee when I realized this super cute wedge by BC Footwear which I first spotted in the clay/peach combo was also available in a nice bright blue and lemony yellow. So great.

I still like the Clay color best, I feel as though I would get a ton of use out of it.

Bags with Bows

There are so many bags with bows on the market right now, no matter what your price point, no matter what your style, you are bound to find one you like. Personally, I am so diverse stylistically that I happened across nine that I love. Well... honestly I came across probably 20, maybe more, but whittled it down to my top nine. Tough, Sweet, Sophisticated, Evening, Work, which bag would you get the most use out of?

Vintage 60s Mad Men

Dontcha just LOVE vintage dresses from the 1950s and 1960s?

There are only 6 days to go until the season premiere of Mad Men
here's the second installment of the countdown (did you miss the first? See it HERE):

Yesterday's vintage 60s dress was pastel springtime loveliness, so today I though I'd go something a little more office appropriate. This beautiful vintage wool dress is the perfect canvas. It's so simple and sweet you can really dress it up with bright accessories. The only picture of the scarf was round the neck, but if you really want to go for a vintage look, you'd loosely tie it around your fabulously quaffed hairdo! A "proper lady" in the early 60s would have NEVER worn her hair long and loose!

Pleated Colorblock Dress

I don't really think you need much commentary from me today. I mean, come on. This dress totally speaks for itself. It says, "Who me? Oh, you know, I'm just fabulous."
And side note, how about this model!? Long limbs, gorgeous skin, full lips. Just heavenly.

(although, if it were me, I'd ditch the strap and carry it as a clutch)

She's a tough cookie.

My fashion identity is all over the place. I like when an outfit says, I'm a cutie patootie, but don't mess with me!
It's like a crunchy cookie with a chewy center.

So close, yet so far!

I can't wait for autumn, just can't wait! Here's a vintage inspired outfit that you can get away with now, but will transition right into the cooler leaf turning months.

Coming Soon!?!?

I sometimes get so very frustrated with online vintage stores. My major pet peeve is sites that leave up images of things that have already been sold! Ugh, Don't show me what I can't have! Pet peeve number two is sellers who don't steam their garments before they take pictures. It hurts my heart to see lovely vintage garments all wrinkled up. You can buy a garment steamer from Macy's for less than $60, It's totally worth the investment. Getting to my point, my number three pet peeve is "Coming Soon"
They have the garment, they've taken pictures and measurements of the garment, they have posted the garment online, but no price! What a tease....
