Quartz Cluster Necklace

It's not too often I come across an item to feature as an individual. I like to piece stuff together.

BUT THIS NECKLACE! GAH!

I can't get over it. I know because I keep going back to the pictures and looking. It's one of those pieces that is worth the splurge, well if I had money to splurge with. I'll just have to save up my pennies and cross my fingers that it'll still be available. You should definitely check out TheWitchesMark on Etsy, her stuff is totally rad. Also, this particular listing had a leather cord originally; I messaged Steph and she quickly and kindly changed the listing to include a copper chain instead. Fantastico customer service!

Here's another pic, because hell yes.

Cozy Comfy Loungewear

I've been at Lavabed Recording this entire week working on our upcoming full length album. It's going famously, but in truth, all I want, ALL I WANT, is to lay around at home in some cozy comfy clothes. Sadly that's not an option right now, but it's all good because we're driving up to Brooklyn tonight to hang with SemitaSerpens and RivenBarrowGlass! Maybe sometime next year things will chill out and I can veg on the couch for a day with the kittehs. Maybe...

1980s vintage romper

It used to pain me to say anything from the 80s was "vintage". I lived through the entire decade. There is no way that it can be vintage. There is NO WAY I'M THAT OLD. Plus, honestly, the 80s weren't the best in the world of fashion.

All that being said, I actually reeeeeally like this 1980s vintage jumper. Thoughts?

Casual gypsy witchy jams

I'd wear these jams walking around town, you know, being all cool and shit. Casual and comfy, yet still a bit dark. Also, on the lipstick note, I've been into wearing just a light layer of mascara and nothing else on my eyes with dark, dark lips like these from cruelty-free and vegan Brija Cosmetics. Werk.

p.s. SOMEONE PLEASE BUY ME THIS NECKLACE

The Force is EVERYWHERE

I don't know what changed, mostly because I don't feel like taking the time to find out frankly, but STAR WARS SHIZ IS EVERYWHERE now. No really, EVERYWHERE. I went shopping today for a pair of shorts/dance briefs to wear under a short skirt and just about every store I went in had SOMETHING Star Wars-centric. I doubt I will actually get any of it because A: I'm not really that into new Star Wars, I'm an OG Star Wars gal and B: it's so not cool now that it's apparently so cool that it is accessible to everyone. What can I say, I'm an #elitistnerd But, if I did, these would be my choices.

Truly, Truly, Truly Outrageous

YRU Jem

I mean really, do I even need to talk about these? Truly Outrageous Boots.
I happened to be quite the Jem fan back in the day. Yeah, I'm kinda old. It's a thing.
Just for shiggles, I looked the show up on Wikipedia, here's what they say about the best part of the whole show:
The Holograms have two rival bands: "The Misfits" and "The Stingers". The Misfits are composed of petulant rich girl Pizzazz (real name Phyllis Gabor) and her cohorts: no-nonsense guitarist Roxy (Roxanne Pelligrini) and kind-hearted, sensitive keytar player Stormer (Mary Phillips). They are joined later by the manipulative British saxophonist Jetta (Sheila Burns).

...and kind-hearted, sensitive keytar player... Amazing. 'hey, what do you want to be when you grow up?' 'a kind-hearted, sensitive keytar player, DUH!'

Back to the boots. The linked image above is for YRU's site, buuuuuut I found them cheaper (although not in my size) on The Moon Cult. Who wants to start a band? I call shotgun on these boots and the keytar.
