This Week in Photos

MAC Morange Lipstick

This week started out great, a fun Monday off landed me in some dressing room adventures complete with an "I'm an old curmudgeon" moment where I was extremely put off that these spandex mini skirts were for little girls. Well, honestly, it was a combo of curmudgeon and jealousy. Why don't those skirts come in my size? I also finally decided on a new bicycle. I had a bit of sticker shock, but I think it was a good decision. It fits me just right, although the fact that a men's XL bike is "my size" wasn't the best moment for my girlie ego.

So to make myself feel better about the whole men's XL thing, I popped into target and tried on hats... in the children's department... At least my head is tiny...

After a great beginning to the week though, things went quickly down hill with a nice hard (HARD) smack to my forehead, resulting in an oh so sexy lump. How did I forget that shelf was right there??

Then on Wednesday Miss Baby Kitty Audrey all of the sudden wasn't eating or being her spritely little self. A vet visit, blood work and urinalysis, and an ultrasound later reveal... well nothing to speak of. Which is good I suppose. No cancer, no kidney failure, no nothing. She seems to be totally back to normal now, but it was a horrific scare. I was a mess all week frightened I was going to lose my bestest little fuzzy buddycakes.

By Saturday she was feeling better and so was I for the most part. Best of all Saturday was new furniture delivery day!! Yippee! After some confusion at the empty living room and some investigating Audrey seemed to approve. Whew. These pictures do absolutely no justice to our new digs. I will make sure to take some photos with the good camera to share!

Yes, I approve of your selections.

Randomness, found a Paris Metro pass in my pocket and yeah, we spray paint a lot.

And the cherry on top of a kind of craptastic week? That lump finally decided to bruise.

Awesome.

Here's to this coming week being way higher on the fantastic meter!
